A Marco Trac-IT Yield Control System, installed by Marco's Benelux distributor JFPT, is playing a vital role for Dutch herb specialists De Kruidenaer at their packhouse in Etten-Leur. De Kruidenaer are leading specialist growers and packers of fresh herbs for supply to major European supermarkets and retailers. JFPT recommended the installation of the Marco system to meet De Kruidenaer's requirements for increased productivity and control of the packing processes.

The JFPT installation, which integrates with the De Kruidenaer order processing system, uses real time data from the packing lines to manage and control the packing process. A simple, yet highly effective, traffic light system, incorporated in the Marco LineMaster packing scales, quickly guides packers to the correct target weight. The automatic optimisation software constantly updates target weights on the scales based on individual packers' trends, thereby reducing giveaway to fractions of a gram.
