Marco chose this year’s Fruit Focus to demonstrate their innovative line control module that has been specifically developed for the soft fruit industry.

TRAC-IT LCM provides the packhouse with a safe and secure set up capability for all elements of the packing line. This enables the rapid and automated set up of Date Coders (thermal, inkjet and laser), Inline Barcode Scanners and Metal Detectors from one selection at a PC screen.

TRAC-IT LCM removes any risk of an EPW (emergency product withdrawal) or the prospect of an RTM (return to manufacturer) by continuously checking that all coding information is correct on every punnet with an immediate line stop on detection of an error.

Fruit Focus has become an annual event for Marco’s Soft Fruit Solutions Team and as their Engineering Manager Alex Morrison adds: “The show provides us with an ideal platform to demonstrate our packhouse solutions to both new and existing customers from the UK and Europe. It is always quite surprising how many of our packhouse installations have been born out of conversations on the stand, and judging by the interest generated this year, we believe 2008 will be no exception”
