Huge success following Fruit Logistica 09 as new German agent joins the team
Roland Wöhrl, Marco’s recently appointed German agent, officially joined the team at the Fruit Logistica exhibition in February.
The exhibition gave Roland the opportunity to work alongside the UK and Holland based sales teams, demonstrating Marco’s TRAC-IT MES efficiency solution’s which he will be marketing to key potential partnerships in Southern Germany.
Roland, who has extensive experience supplying solutions to the farming and agricultural industry, will work under the direction of Marco’s Dutch office, Marco B.V, to help expand the company’s presence in Europe.
Marco’s marketing director Mandy Hart is delighted with the appointment and as she concludes: “This marks another important milestone in our European expansion plans. Fruit Logistica has been so successful that Marco have already taken over 200,000 Euros of business directly from this year’s show. The first order was taken less than three weeks after the show from a German customer who had not had any previous contact with Marco.”
